How to replace front right wheel bearing

Front wheel drive?if so which i think it is you need to remove the whole hub assy then use a universal hub seperator to remove the bearing then press a new bearing in. some vehicles such as ford festiva need a special tool to adjust a shim thickness which is imperative. I would sugest you get a 2nd hand hub assy with a good bearing in it & just replace the whole assy :-)

F150, 4x4, 2005, Replace front wheel brgs.

there are no trick to this, they bolt right up, no press needed, the only tool is a snap ring pliers or just use a couple of picks, heres a diagram of the bearing, also if this truck has vacuum operated 4wd,take caution to remove the three bolts holding diapharm on rear of hub, also dissconect abs sensor, new bearing should come with new sensor, here are a couple of pictures to help.if you have 4wd with vacuum operation check the diaphram whil doing hub baering just hook vac pump to connection then apply vacuum and it will move in and should hold, if 4wd works fine then dont worry about that then, hope this helps,ddc32b1.gif8773598.gif5513d51.gif

Looking to change a rear wheel bearing on a 2003 Ford Fiesta. Do I need any special tools to achieve this?

if you take the rear wheel hub out the bearing should come easy enough without any tool, but make sure and check the bearing runner, where the bearing sits. if dat does not work you will need to press the bearing out. make sure and use a lot of greese on the new bearing

How do I replace the hub assy on a 2004 ford explorer AWD?

Hi,
I was referring to the Haynes Repair Manual #36025, Ford Explorer 2002-2006, Chapter 10, "Hub and bearing assembly (rear) replacement": Due to the special tools and expertise required to press the hub and bearing from the rear knuckle, this job should be left to a professional mechanic. However, the knuckle may be removed and taken to an automotive machine shop or other qualified repair facility equipped with the necessary tools.

Thank You for contacting Fixya.com

Stalled, leaking gas on drivers side by the rear door, i believe its a fuel pump? 2003 ford expedition. Can I replace it myself?

I replaced my filter on my 2003 also but you dont need special tools, you just squeeze the tabs on the connectors and pull them off. you might have an o ring missing on the one of the 3 hoses on the filter. The filter is under a plastic cover by the fuel tank near the driver side rear door.
