Have a shop replace the outside temperature sensor. This one is bad giving erratic signals so the temperature controller doesn't know what to do with it then stops working.

I would have someone check the automatic system - the minus temp will keep the system from working because the body computer thinks the outside air is below zero. The sensor for outside air may be defective.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

Chevrolet celebrity Climate controls Problem

You cannot stop the outside air from coming in while driving. Vehicles equipped with A/C draws in outside air while driving and directs the airflow through the floor vents...even with the switch in the off position. This is normal and does not indicate a problem.

Climate control display for Outside temperature

Had the same problem, replaced the ambient air temp sensor in front of the radiator. Cost is like 10-15 bucks. Don't worry if temp doesn't change right away. Took me about 5 miles and then it worked great.

No electric power to the power locks on door. no power to the climate control module

I have the same problem. The outside door panel lock wouldn't work. Had it worked on during the warranty period. Salesman said it just stopped working too early. Same thing happened again. I'm wondering if the electrical system is affected by the outside door panel - the laminated outside seems to be peeling off like my neighbors'!
