Most likely the diode from the alternator is leaks draining the batterysumthing keeps bringing my battery down.the - 2_bing.gif. If you believe your battery is good then recharge it to full level then do the followings: 1- Disconnect negative cable from the battery over night to see how weak it is in the next morning. If it is bad then it is the battery no other thing. 2- If it is good, take off wires from the alternator for a night, next day battery is still good then there is a problem with the alternator diode. Hope this can help.

Look for a loose output wire and connection. If the connection is loose dnd making and braking contact, it will blow the alternator. Also check the alternator ground, making sure it is not making and braking contact. The ground is the attachment to the engine bracket. You may have to add a large black wire from the alternator to the engine frame.

2001 buick lasabre fuses keep blowing now the car has no power

Obviously a blown fuse is caused by a short to ground. You may need a book to get the wiring diagrams to trace the circuit.
Does the car start then blow the fuse after you put a new fuse in ?

Lincoln continental battery keeps dying

the altinator should be putting out at least 14 volts,so have it checked out,and if its dead after an hour or so,it sounds like the diode,s gone,so the problem does seem to be the altinator.

Battery might have died cause the altinator is not charging 14+V Please charge the battery, donot boost the dead battery. After charging the battery check the altinator output.

i`d say your battery is already dead(not able to hold charge) the car requires the continuous flow of power from the altinator. if the the power dies then your altinator is not supplying it properly. get it checked and replaced if nesesary.

I just recently replaced my altinator and battery and everytime i try to start it its dead what are some possible problems?

possible problems are endless, could be the voltage regulator, could just be some sort of drain in the electrical system ie a dome light that is burnt out but maybe the switch is in the on position. when you jump it it starts up? Does it click when you try and start it? It could be the starter or starter solenoid and not a power issue. hope this helps

My 2006 h2 hummer battery keep's going dead i just put it in chairing sys is putting 110 volt's

If its putting in 110 volts then you have a altinator problem.Regulater over chared the battery. The battery needs to be replaced you have damaged the cells.Thats why it want hold charge. Before you do fit a new battery change the altinator.Hope that was helfull.

Car won't start says check traction control

the car should still start even with somthing wrong with the traction control. sounds like you have a dead battery. i would check it first. and if battery is dead charge it and start the car then take it to your local advance auto and have the altinator checked thay do it for free. if a charged battery dont start the car then you may have a bad starter. again the traction control light will not keep the car fromk starting
