Question about 2004 Ford Ranger
My 2004 ford ranger 3.0 6cyl has motorcraft agsf 32 fm platinum plugs They are gapped at .096 the book calls for a gap of .044 Any idea why the gap now is so wide ??? and if I put in new ones gapped at .044 Will I damage anything. It runs fine as is. Thanks
Depending on the mileage, the excessive gap may be due to wear. It also may be from the plugs not being properly gapped when they were previously installed. I would recommend installing a new set of plugs, and setting the gap to the factory specs.
