Broken water-pump don't dump water when they are bad. They leak bit-by-bit through their bleed holes. You may have a broken hose. You may test the leaking again with plain water, and while the engine is running open the hood and see where the leak is coming from.
If your water-pump is out, you will have to replace it togethet with the timing-belt. And it would be best to get the Haneys repair manual which is more detailed for this job. The water-pump is bolted to the engine side, protected by black plastic covers.

Mazda 626 lx can I put zerex heavy antifreeze to the water that's already in my car

Depends on several factors. If you have plain water in your radiator/cooling system and you dont know how much it holds you are going to be hard pressed to get the right amount of antifreeze in it. You need to drain some of the water off and add coolant straight to the radiator. I would drain it all and put in new pre-mixed coolant. Dont ever put tap water in your cooling system.

Water in mazda 626 won't circulate.

Are you sure you have purged all the air out of the cooling system? That would be the most common issue.

I have a 1996 Mazda 626 2.0 Automatic. It runs

of course the top is hot water goes into the rad from the top and out of the bottom into the engine, the fact that the belt broke makes me wonder about the integrity of the water pump, the impeller might be slipping, could still be the rad , does the heat go from the top to the bottom???

1993 mazda 626 LX 2.0L. Smelled burning smell for about 10 seconds, then overheating began. No heat coming from heater, and Charge light; all happen at same time. Also, rear light came on too. Thought it...

Sounds like you have burned a belt off the pulley for the alternator and water pump. Dont drive the car until you have verified the belt is intact and the water pump is turning. Something had to have caused it if it did, I would suspect water pump, alternator, or air conditioning compressor has siezed if your car is equipped with it.

I have a 1993 Mazda 626 LX five speed, and my clutch pedal will not go back up. I have pumped it like for 10 minutes, and I can not get into gear. Please help.

Have you checked the clutch master cylinder for fluid? First place I would look. If you don't know what it looks like, it will be next to the fire wall drivers side- looks like a brake master cylinder, but smaller. Just use plain brake fluid in it.

The upper radiator hose runs into the thermostat housing. Remove the front of the housing and you will find the thermostat.

How to change a water pump on a 1994 mazda millenia with a v6dohc

if you have no antifreeze on the ground, your header is cracked. Its not the water pump. Does your oil look unusually brown instead of black? or are there foamy deposits on the dipstick?
