Hi, is your car manual or auto gear box.

If it is a manual shift gear box then their is a 17ml allen key plug in the side of the gear box it will just look like a more or less flush plug that you need to use a big allen key on to get it undone.

It should be about between half way up the gear box or just less.

Once you have located this then make sure you use correct size allen key as it can get mashed up using wrong tools to undo.
The big problem you have is getting the oil into this hole as its not like the oil filler cap witch is facing upwards this is a side ways on one so you just cant pour the oil into a hole you either need a transmission oil pump that you can buy from most car spares shops or places like halfords if you have one.

Or you could make your own the best way to make you own is once you have removed the 17ml allen key bung find some hose pipe or something like hose that will fit into the hole easily now cut the hos down to about a foot in length then get a funnel from the kitchen sneak on out while the misses isnt looking cuz she wont be happy you wrecked one of her funnels.
So with the one end inside the allen key plug hole the other end fit the funnel onto so its secure fit so that the oil wont leak out between the funnel and hose cut the funnel if you have to so that its a tight fit into the hose.

Once you have made this contraption you can start pouring the oil in now its a slow job and a smelly job as the oil really stinks so keep pouring if you have drained the oil out of the box then put in what it says in the manual if you are just topping it up then you need to get the car on level ground now your suppose to fill it up until the oil is just starting to leak out of the allen key plug hole you only want it slightly leaking out then do the plug up dont over fill.

If the hose you have got is a tight fit in the hole then pour little amounts into the funnel and then pull the hose out of the hole to see if the oil is starting to come out keep doing this untill you take the hose out and the oil starts leaking out then stop and replace the allen key tighten it up but dont over tighten.
Thats for a manual gear box ok...

If you have manual box then this you can do yourself and will need to take the car into a garage to have this done as it has to be pumped in to keep it at a certain pressure.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Saturn vue 2005 2.2 L Engine auto transmission fluid refill plug?

automatic transmissions are filled by 2 methods
1-- through the dipstick tube
or
2 if sealed ( no dipstick ) by a measured amount being pumped in by special equipment at a transmission specialist shop
if there is no dipstick , you will have to get the vehicle to a service shop that can refill it

Finding where to put transmission fluid can be a bit of a challenge on some cars. In fact there are some transmissions that you can't even add fluid to.But that's not the case on your vehicle.

First confirm the level of fluid before filling it.==========For exact transmission fluid replacing/filling procedure.Go through the list of help links below:-----its having complete step by step procedure.Click the link :----

I cant check fluid in transmission no dipstick

THE 4T40 E 4T45 E AND 4T65 E THESE TRANSMISSIONS DONT HAVE A FILL TUBE WITH DIP STICK.THOSE TRANSMISSION VECHICLE HAS TO BE PUT ON A LIFT AND LEVEL. TRANSMISSION HAS A FLUID CHECK PLUG LOWER HOUSING TRANSMISSION JUST ABOVE THE OIL DRAIN PLUG.TO CHECK FLUID TRANSMISSION NEED TO BE OPERATING TEMPERATURE. WITH ENGINE RUNNING AND TRANSMISSION FLUID PLUG REMOVE IF TRANSMISSION FLUID POURS OUT. CHECK PLUG HOLE.YOU HAVE TOO MUCH TRANSMISSION FLUID IN TRANSMISSION.IF FLUID DONT DRIP OUT HOLE NEED TO ADD A PINT AT A TIME.IF FLUID DRIPS OUT SLOWLY FLUID CORRECT TO POUR TRANSMISSION IN TRANSMISSION RAISE HOOD LOOK ON TOP TRANSMISSION ON DRIVER SIDE FOR A RED VENT FILL PLUG.REMOVE PLUG USING A LONG LONG FUNNEL POUR TRANSMISSION FLUID IN THE VENT FILL PLUG HOLE.THIS VECHICLE THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO CHECK FLUID USING A LIFT.YOU CAN DO THIS JOB BUT IT WILL VERY DANGEROUS YOU CAN PUT CAR ON JACK STANDS WITH VECHICLE SITTING LEVEL. BUT THE DANGER PART COMES YOU HAVE TO SLIDE UNDER THE CAR WHILE ENGINE RUNNING TO CHECK FLUID.IF YOU DO THIS JOB HAVE FRIEND OR HELPER AROUND DONT WORK UNDER CAR BY YOUR SELF ALWAYS KEEP CELLUAR PHONE ON HAND FOR EMERGENCY.

Where in the engine does the transmission fluid go?

HI!!

The transmission fluid is refilled thru the dipstick tube, you need to use a small funnel in order to do so. Do not over fill transmission.

Suzuki Verona 05- where do I refill the transmission fluid?

The 04 to 06 verona does not have a transmission dipstick, it is filled with a life time transmission fluid and thus does not need to be filled. If you have leaks and are concerned about the level there is a fill plug. BEWARE these transmissions do no use off the shelf ATF, Check with suzuki for the correct fluid and be sure to bring your checkbook

Need to refill clutch fluid

The housing that the axles come out of is the transmission so if you lost fliud out of there, it's transmission fliuld if it's a manuel transmission you fill from the side of the transmission if it's an automatic transmission you fill it from under the hood in the dip stick tube good luck
