Question about 2005 Ford Escape
This may be an indication of some type of electrical/electronic fault within the computer control system for the 4wheel drive. I would recommend that you take the vehicle to a repair facility that has the proper scanning equipment, and have it checked for codes. This will tell you what type of fault is occurring.
