Question about 1992 Nissan Maxima
If you are installing something other than an origional radio,
You must have an adapter as Michigan Man suggested.
The amplifier is located in the trunk and you must have a
wireing harness to match the radio you are installing with
this system. I would suggest going to an audio shop to get
the harness. You have to have the right one, they can steer
you right. I went to Audio Express for the one I purchased.

If it was me i would stop by a walmart or any parts stop or radio shackand pickup a install kit and that way you just plug it into the plugs you have and you also have a diagram wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.
