Question about 1993 Toyota Corolla

Brake light on dashboard comes on sporadically. My emergency brake is not on. It comes on in the morning when the car is cold. It comes on when I accelerate, not when I am pressing the brakes.

Check the brake fluid level in the brake master cylinder under the hood, add as needed, use DOT 3 fluid.

Emergency brake light comes on occasionally but does not stay on

I would check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder, if the level is too low it will lower the float in the master cylinder and turn on the brake light on the dashboard, especially if it is an occassional occurance. Hope this helps

My Brake Light on My dashboard is coming on when I brake, but the fluid is above the minimum level, and I had my brakes looked at less than a year ago. the dashboard brake light comes on intermittently...

You hava very common issue.
The brake fluid contracts when it is cold. The level may be "above the minimum", but being there allows the sensor to activate when it is cold, due to the contraction aspect of the brake fluid...
Add 1 ounce of brake fluid, and you problem will disappear.
A FixYa rating for my assistance would be greatly appreciated.
