It's pretty easy to remove the lens assembly,
When you open and lower the tail gate you will see the two torx screws that secure it.Remove them and pull out on the screw side of the lens, the left side is not secured with screws but just a hinge, think of it as opening a left side car door.

How do you change a running light on a 1999 chevy silverado

pick up your hood, each headlight has a rod L shaped on the right and left end of the light. they look

like latches. unlatch the rods and pull them straight up. once the rods are removed you can pull out

the headlight assembly and you have access to your running lights. on the battery side, you may have

to remove the battery. good luck!

No tail lights on 1991 Chevy Silverado. fuse is good

sounds like a broken wire in the harness. look around the bumper area, sometimes along the frame. may have to peel back some tape covering. also if you have a trailer harness look closely at those.
