My car will not start i jus got a new starter and transmission the car was i need of a tune up whats going on

So why not jus start it in neutral. It's just a car. Don't dump too much money into it. When a simple fix will suffice.
A few years ago I had a Impreza and the key would not start the car. A new steering column was needed. But wait! Even half of the wrecking yard parts had the same problem.
So instead weAdded a push button starter button instead. $7 vs $575.
Let me think. What is one to do?
The car is still running fine.

You didn't say what year or model.
If a newer model have your computer codes checked.

try to bypass the starter motor see the diagram attached. and fix it.
However if the problem persist the problem is ignition timing out of manufacturer specification. run the scanner/computer for easy diagnostic and fix it. see the diagram

FIRST MAKE SURE ALL YOUR CONNECTIONS ON THE STARTER ARE TIGHT.CLEAN THE BATTERY TERMINALS.IT MAY ALSO BE A BAD REBUILT STARTER. YOU GET ONE EVERY SO OFTEN.

If the flex plate is the same size and tooth it will be fine

sounds like you need a new ignition, reason nothing works cause once it doese turn over n starts the car the tumbler is stick in the starting position jus not far enough to keep the starter engaged but far enough the it still trying to go trough the start process which cuts the power to everything else till the ignition returns to the on postion

did you try jus turning the ignition far enough to when the starter engages jus let go of it so the car doesnt start and see if everything else still doesnt work if it dont i belive its the igniton

also with out starting it or engaging the starter as in just turning the key on to get power does anything work?

first thing to do is to add a relay in your starter. relay should be connected to the solenoid of your starter then giving it addition amperes to let the starter motor running.

if adding a relay does not do the trick. replace the carbons bushings in your starter.

another problem should be your ignition timing. if you are experiencing hard starting only when the engine is hot, then your ignition timing is overly advanced.

It will turn over but will not start.It can be battery, starter or fuel issue.As it started this problem after shifting to gear, but did not shifted , it can be transmission related issue.But most probably its battery and other possibilities casing the problem.Click the link below for more troubleshooting:---

The starting system consists of:

• starter motor
• starter switch, part of the ignition switch
• digital transmission range (TR) sensor (automatic transmission-equipped vehicles)
• starter motor solenoid relay switch
• starter solenoid
• starter drive

When you turn your key to start your engine, it just clicks, right? If so, more than likely this is due to a bad battery. Even though your battery may appear to be fully charged, it may have a dead cell, or worse. If you get a jump, does the vehicle start? If so, replace your battery.

Possible sources of the problem if the engine does not crank or the relay clicks:

1. Battery
2. Starter motor
3. Starter motor relay
4. Ignition switch
5. Damaged fuse
6. Anti-theft system
7. Circuitry
