Check the brightness of the bulbs when they work. It sounds like a filiment broke in one of them and is laying across the other filiment in the bulb causing all lights to come on at times or not at all. You probably have one or more bad bulbs.

If all bulbs including the fronts are good you have a short in the wiring. The short will be a pain to pin point from here but with what you have already done it may be in the front of the truck or possibly under the dash from the brake light switch to the turn signal switch. Sorry I can't pin point it better but that is the best guess I can give you without actually seeing the truck.

You say you replaced turn signal switch, Have you changed the relays for this? Also check chevy recalls as they have had several concerning electrical problems with these cars. The harness can also get corroded as well as the bulb sockets.

Check the brake light switch. It is unr the drivers side of the dash and mounted on a bracket close to the brake pedal lever. There should be one wire that has power all the time and one WO that will only have power when the brake pedal is depressed. If no other wires have power with the brake pedal depressed the switch is bad. It is also possible that the switch was knocked out of adjustment. Either way a quick peak should reveal the problem Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

Check your fuse first thing. You may also have a bad brake light switch. If the turn signals come on but just will not flash then replace the flasher relay.

2000 Chevy CK, have hazard lights, turn signals,

test your brake switch located on the brake fulcrum. you can unhook the wires and usea paper clip to connect the two wires together if the brake lights come on then replace the switch, if it does not come on and the bulbs are ok then replace turnsignal switch.

Brake lights do not work, all other lights work.

It is a common chevy problem for the circuit board that holds to bulb to fail, are your running lights and signals still working back there as well? If not then you need to replace the boards.
