What I would recommend to you, like for instance, makes some calls to the more popular tire stores, that sell, mount, and balance tires. Get the name from you're tires and a lot of dealers who sale this tire, will rotate and check the tires at no charge. Please don't quote me on charging you as at one time it was a free charge. The gauge could be referring to uneven wear, tire pressure, you may want to pick up a tire pressure gauge at Auto zone. I was a tire mechanic for 3 years at an earlier age, so I am just giving you some things to check. The light is on for a reason. The age of the tires and the mileage you have on them would be something to consider. You can get tire separation, I have seen this many times on a tire that looks brand new, but for some reason the rubber will start to separating causing bumps and rough rides, you would know right away. I doubt if this is the problem, but look through the owners manual to see if there is information on this condition and light? I would do a air pressure check first of all, and go from there. If they are worn down to what we call the wear bar, they are located on the tire between the tread, just a horizontal rubber bar like figure. If the rubber is down to this wear bar, it would be time to replace them. I Sincerely hope I have been of some help to you on tires.
Good Luck

Air pressure may be low in one or more tires -low air pressure affects driving /braking and if low enough and run over debris can pinch against rim and flatten tire

Right front tire blew out, some one said the fuel line fuse shut down cause the van not start back on

to prove this check the fuse . If it has blown then check for wiring damage caused by the tyre case as it passed under the car. If it stayed on the rim intact then it will just be a coincidence . Run the fault codes to find which sensor was affected

Good Morning, I have a Ford E150 1995 with rear air conditioner. I have seen anti freeze on the ground by the left rear tire. Is that a metal line or rubber hose. Thanks for your any help you can give me.

The plumbing to the rear heater is metal lines under the body and then connect with rubber to the core in the heater, with the age of the van the leak is most likey the metal lines corroded. If you don't need the rear heater operational, the lines can be by-passed in the front of the van [ it will not affect the cooling system].

I just replaced tires on van . now the message center keeps saying service tire pressure system soon . how do I correct this

This usually indicates there is a problem with the TPMS system. Either one of the sensors is bad and not communicating. or the Module is not receiving a signal. Either way you will need a TPMS tool capable of reading TPMS sensor data and a high end scan tool capable of reading TOMS data and codes.

You best bet is to find a shop or a dealer that is equipped to diagnose this problem. If the message came on immediately after the tire where replaced it is possible that one of the sensors was damaged during the tire installation. Dode sensors seem to be a little more to problems so its not necessarily the fault of the tire shop as it can and does happen. Its the nature of the beast with this system.

What does it mean when my brake light (on dashboard) is staying on in my 2000 dodge stratus?

That light is a combination warning light.
It usually comes on when you set your parking brake, so check that your parking brake is off.

It also comes on when your brake system has a problem. it means that one of your two brake systems has problems. Check your brake fluid reservoir, and see if either one is low on fluid. If so, then check the back side of the affected tires and look for brake fluid leakage., and if the fluid is low, get your vehicle checked out as soon as possible

2005 Touring states Service Tire System Soon

You may have a bad tire pressure sensor in one of the rims and the the service tire system is turning on the warning lamp as a result of not being able to "see" what the tire pressure is in that tire. These are fairly easy to accidentally damage when changing tires [I've done it myself] but they do just fail sometimes also. They are fairly easy to test and any Chrysler dealer or good tire shop should be able to check it out for you.

Rear tires are making very loud noise, humming, its getting louder and louder

you either have a pulled belt in the tire or theres a separation in the tread belt and you need to have this checked soon as this tire could blow out at highway speed,if the noise is as bad as you say it is,jack up the van block the wheels and hand spin the tire and check and watch if it wobbles, has any flat spots, bulges wiggly tread in the tread face, just anything out of the ordinary

1. 2008 Express 2500 Van, V8 4.8L - Does the tire pressure monitor need to be reset manually or is it automatic ? 2. Do these vans come from factory with N20 in tires as standard ? as option ? not...

Comes with regular air in the tires. And if your Pressure monitor system is malfunctioning it may need reset by the dealer. We have a van that needed a new computer to resolve the pressure monitoring system problems

Please help

have the tires checked and balanced .check to make sure that your tires are good condition and the plies that made the tires are not seperating. this happens on some tires that have been on the car for a while. The brake system is a sealed system so either your brakes are low or you have a leak in the system
