Question about 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier
I have a 96 cavalier 2.4 motor and the transmission is a 4t40e and im doing a fluid and filter change after i drain the fluid and put a new filter on how much transmission fluid do i put in it to fill it.
If you are just dropping the pan and changing the filter it will probably take aprox. 4 maybe 5 quarts. I would add 4 and check it befor adding more . Just dont actually put it into gear until you know the fluid level is correct. Make sure to give the fluid enough time to get out of the dipstick tube so you get a accurate reading
