Question about 1993 Mercury Villager
Well,it is hard to diagnose a vehicle with no more information than this, but it is not your fault. To diagnose it correctly, test need to be done when it acts up,and does not start. But the the part that most likely would act up,when warm,on this year make and model, would be the ignition module.Checking for spark,at the coil, and fuel pressure, when the car acts up,would narrow it down.I hope this was some what helpful,if so,please let us know, thank you.

There is a TSB on this condition with Mitchell which means the maunfacturer has had lots of simular complaints. The fix is to replace the fuel pump. Symptons they describe are long cranking times when cold to stalling and no restart till cooled down. There is a revised fuel pump to address this complaint
