You will need to remove the crankshaft bolt with an air impact wrench. Then you will need to get a balancer puller to get the pulley off.

The biggest wheel under the belt is vibrating ad making alot of noise. How long do i have before i break down? and is it the harmonic balancer?

by biggest wheel under the belt are you talking about the lowest wheel on the motor at the bottom of the motor then it is the harmonic balancer the rubber dampener material between the outer and inner metal balancer is coming apart.you should get this replaced as soon as possible.if it separates completely it can cause alot of damage to other components and cost more money to repair the damage

How to put on the timing chain on a buick regal

of all the engines out there, the 3800 is among the easiest to do in the driveway/carport. basic tools. 99% of the work from topside. well engineered repairable engine comes apart like leggos. if you're new to this type of repair, knowledge is power, so buy or borrow a haynes or clinton repair manual for complete step-by-step instructions, pictures, and diagrams.
or get a printout of the timing marks free from your local auto parts store and wing it. remove belt, tensioner, harmonic balancer (and pulley), and timing chain cover, and you're right there. you're gonna save hundreds of dollars doing this one yourself...

I need to chance the crank sensor on a '96 buick park ave. 3800 v-6, what am i going to have to take off to do it ?

Passenger tire, passenger inner well cover, serpentine belt, pulley that attaches to harmonic balancer , nut for harmonic balancer, then harmonic balancer. Sensor is screwed to engine. Disconnect battery prior to and before install of sensor. The 3800 has a special balancer puller designed just for it, not sure were you could rent one it is a specalty tool.
