the Flow door is controlled By an electric motor if is not moving , then is Problem in Comfort control Module most likely,First step is to check fuses for the System, If all fuses are good then there will be a Diagnostic code that will be displayed when a Diagnostic Check is done, since it is Not An Emmision control Problem it will not set a Warning light, But should have a Stored Code in the Climate control Module which can be accessed through a Diagnostic Scan of the vechile

possible causes
Shorted or open circuit within Transmission Control Module (TCM)

p0700 description
The transaxle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. When the TCM detects a malfunction with the control, a signal is send to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to trigger the Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. The ECM stores the P0700 code and it means the TCM detected a malfunction with the transaxle controls.

Emmision system service required with engine

I just had the same problem, which I also had in another car, a Jag XF, this can be related to too much town driving, and you may need to take half an hour of motorway or similar driving at higher speeds to clear the problem from the exhaust system, and the warning light.

The "engine check" light is on and a local Toyota dealer said that the computer board is bad. Does it need to be replaced right away? They said it could be an expensive fix? Can I get this fix at other car...

if it runs sufficiently then there's no reason to do it immediately. generally, computer replacements are expensive because the computer itself is expensive. varying by age and vehicle, they tend to range from $200-$2000 just for the part. installation generally is not too labor-intensive but usually requires some dashboard disassembly. if you are having this done at a dealer then you're probably spending at least 50% more than what you would spend at a smaller shop or auto repair chain. you could potentially go on indefinitely w/out changing it if it has no driveability problems. however, if you live in a state w/ stricter emissions requirements, then you likely will be made to replace it when you get your next annual inspection

Emissions warning light stays illuminated while driving vehicle is a holden vectra 2001 and not oldsmobile as below. could not find a listing for holden.

The warning light has two states. A blinking light indicates a critical problem with gaseous emissions from the engine that is likely to cause permenant damage to the engine, exhaust sytem or catalytic converter. A blinking light must be remedied immediately, and the car should not be driven in this state, at the risk of causing serious and permenant damage to the engine, exhaust and/or catalytic converter. Repairing or replacing these parts can be extremely expensive. A reputable garage or a Vauxall/Opel garage should be able to diagnose and repair the problem.

A solid (unblinking) light indicates a non-critical fault in the emmisions exhaust system. Many faults are covered by this light including failures in emssions sensors, temperature sensors and a variety of other parts. This usually results in a higher than average amount of environmentally harmful pollutants being expelled from the car, loss of power and/or gradual damage to the engine, exhaust and catalytic converter. While the car can still be driven with a non-critical emmisions problem, it is highly recommended that the fault is diagnosed and repaired at a reputable garage or Vauxhall/Opel garage.

Warning Light on the dash is illuminated all the time and it says, "BAS ESP"

This is the Brake Assistance/Electronic Stablilty malfunction light, it is the equivalent of an ABS (antilock brake) / electronic suspension control (traction control, rollover control, electronic suspension control) light. It basically means you have a problem in either your electronic ABS, traction control, or some other advanced electronic suspension control problem... Your car is fine to drive like it is, unless you detect some other driveability issue other than the dash light... (99.9% of the time it's something irrelevant and maybe stupid; that's what you get for driving electronic cars...) Your best bet to get rid of the light would be to get the car to an auto shop with a reader that can read ABS/EBS, brake and suspension codes to really find out why the light is on (usually a wheel speed sensor, or something like it...)
