Question about 1998 Buick Regal
You should have a total of four wires,The heavy wire with a big eye connector goes to battery positive.A smaller wire with a big eye connector goes behing the big battery positive wire,on the big post of the starter.A light purple wire goes on the post of the starter away from the engine,it goes to the ignition switch and is hot when you turn the key to the start position,the last wire is optional it is the small wire and connects to the little post on the starter closest to the engine.It goes to the ignition switch and is hot when you turn the key on.
