Won't start, could it be fob or engine?

Try not using the fob at all open the door with the key. And start the jeep if it works without issue then its the fob. If its still not working correctly remove the battery from the fob and try again(since if it was damaged could be sending the signal for the panic button) the next step is the key try your spare security key can become worn and cause issues with the antitheft system. After that it only leaves computer problems and those can get spendy

I am having alarm issues with my 1992 Jeep Cherokee Limited. The alarm activates every time I attempt to start the car. It doesnt even turn over. I would like to know how to disarm or bipass, or figure out...

you CANNOT bypass the alarm/immobliliser.
the car is not reacting to you opening it with the remote,(change the batteries)so it thinks you are trying to steal it.....then reset as per the book.

2005 Grand Cherokee: my alarm is activated on my jeep and it won't star...

Replace the battery in th key fob to allow you to deactivate the alarm system. Use a small thin edged screw driver to pop open the cover on the fob to replace the battery.

I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the original key fobs. Arrived back to the vehicle and the keys are not working to unlock/lock the car. Mannually unlocked, and the car thinks I am trying to steal...

The key fobs have failed take to the dealer they would have to replace the key fobs don't try to start it more then 3 time or it will lock out for 1 hour.

hi, the problem may be in the ignition switch itself. this part can take lots of stress during time and, the wiring can become lose, causing shorts.
