The first thing to check is the brake light fuse,If it is ok check the brake switch under the dash,It is connected to the brake pedal,Check with a test light to see if you have power in one terminal wire,If you do push the brake pedal down and see if you have power in the other wire.If you don't,replace the switch. If you have power, move to the brake light bulbs now, remove the bulb and see if you have power in the light socket,if you do ,replace the bulb,if not you need to trace the wire from the switch to the bulb, remember the color code of the wire at the switch.

I have a 1994 Honda accord lx when i push the breaks i here a hissing sound like it is leaking around the breaks and i notice the breaks dont work as good now what could it be?

Hi, the sound is vacuum leaking thru a torn diaphram in the brake booster. You will need a new booster. Please let me know if you need instructions for replacing the booster, and thanks for using FixYa.

After changing front rotors and brake pads on my 1999 Accord LX, Brake peddle goes to floor despite pumping them maney times. I do not have brakes.

You need to bleed them well..
Open the master cap.. Open the bleed valve on each break and let the fluid run out NOT letting the master empty all the way..
Run a few pints through and tighten everything up and you should be good to go..

Car brake lights won t turn off when car is shut down Honda accord lx 1992

Sounds like just a simple break light switch ajustment, the switch works off the break peddle arm, its not letting the plunger on the switch to release all the way out so break lights go off insted they stay on. If thats not the case than a new switch is in order.

Tail lights stay on until fuse is taken out brake lights work fine

It happened to me 2 weeks ago, check your brake pedal. there is what we call a pedal stopper (rubber) that pushes the stop light switch everytime you release the brake pedal, and that makes the brake lights shut off. your pedal stopper may be destroyed already. (it looks like a push pin)

hope it helps.
