You will be needing a 15 mm wrench, an oil drain pan(the 15 quart capacity works best), a couple rags, some hand cleaner, a strap type oil filterwrench, a new oil filter and some new oil.Don't forget to buy someramps if you don't already have them to get that truck up in the air with.It wouldn't hurt to buy a quart of each of the following jst in case they're low...power steering fluid, trans fluidand don't forget a gallon ofwasher fluid so you can top off your reservoir in case it's low.....That's it!!!!! If ya have anymore questions get back to me on here...I'm here to help.....

2001 Tahoe will start but dies immediately

It is better to have a Higher Oil Pressure.. When shut off it reading 40 is just the gauge I would think. On my 78 Chevy the gauge will not zero out untill the next day when I go to start it and turn the key over. You might try running some Fuel stabilizer through it, Possibly a better Grade gas.. As the oil goes, If you are loosing oil I advise checking it Weekly, and add oil as needed.. to maintain the proper running level.. Change every 5000 miles or so as normal, Also Change filter each time you change the oil. I hope this helps a little. Good luck!

I need to know exactly where the oil filter is located on my 2001 Chevy Tahoe.

it's under the vehicle on the drivers side next to where the engine and transmission meet. If you can see the drain plug the filter is right next to it.

My 2001 chevy tahoe acts like its not getting gas. It will start but no go anywhere and die when you give it gas. The check oil pressure light came on when it died today. It started after I had my oil...

I would call the place that changed the oil. It is possible some rookie disconnected something. It is also possible for the fuel pump to be failing by coincidence.

How to replace ac compressor for 2001 chrvy tahoe?

take the serp belt off, remove the 4 bolts on top. remove the bolt holding the lines. unplug the plug on the back of compressor. remove compressor. drain oil out into a measuring cup. use a snap ring pliers and remove the senor. with new compressor install the old sensor. drain the oil out of new comp. there should be a total of 7 oz pag 150 a/c oil. add to new oil until there is 7 ozs. put back into comp. install back into car in the same order. when done go to a shop and have them charge the system. tell them what you did so they don't add any more oil into it. change the dryer at the same time. don't oil it. no warranty if you don't change it. best of luck
