My 'R' reg Ford Escort only blows out cold air.

Fan working fine, matrix directs air ok. Only problem is that it it blows out cold air only. I think this is thermostat problem only but is that all its likely to be?

The thumostat can be stuck open i would check that first. If that doesnot solve the problem. Then flush out coolant and make sure you have no air in the system good luck

The heater in my 93 plymouth voyager is working proper yet blows cold air. why?

Hi There.
The heater FAN may be working fine but if the water is not circulating or not being allowed to circulate the it is only going to blow cold.. check thermostat and heater matrix. it could be something as simple as an air lock in the matrix system and just needs flushing out.

Hi my escort van 52 reg heater will only get slightly hot 1800

I'm not particularly familiar with that vehicle but all that I have seen also have a valve that opens and closes to allow or restrict the fluid flow to the heater core. It could be a problem if you haven't already eliminated it. The air defecting doors under the dash that direct air to the floor or to the defroster are also suspect.

Heater blows cold air

maybe the heater matrix could be at fault, thats the bit that controls the temperature in the car.

Fan/heaters not working

As the blower motor resistor begins to fail it will cause the loss of fan speeds one or several at a time. This sounds like your problem. I would begin by changing this resistor. Should be cheap, about 10 or 15 bucks.

Heater only blows hot (well, warm) on full speed of fan

Replace the temp control on this car, it should be electrical control not cables.
