1998 Isuzu Amigo is getting no gas to the injectors, fuel is present at the injectors, node lights are indicating no pulses at the injectors, ECU checks out to be good, spray fuel in the intake and it starts right up. Car was running great then just quit !! Anyone venture to guess? I'm stumped !

    Sorry, this is a V6.

The reason i say the injectors have fuel is because the fuel"release valve" when pushed shoots fuel 3 feet high with the switch turned on and fuel pump humming away. I might be making too many assumptions here but i thought i had good fuel pressure. I will check it out to be sure , Thanks

OK, you mean no gas THROUGH the injectors. Do you mean it keeps running after you put fuel in or it just runs on the fuel you sprayed in, then stalls out? Does the ck eng light come on when you turn the key on? have you checked ALL the fuses? The injectors should have power on one side, and the computer grounds them. Unless you have a wiring diagram and a scanner , maybe a repair shop would best serve you. At first I was guessing that the Crank Sensor could be bad, but I think if it was, you would not have spark?

Just because there is fuel at the injectors doesn't mean there is any fuel pressure. You need to check your fuel pressure and if is low or non-exisitant then you either have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.

-Use noise light to check each injector wire connector to see
If there is power there or not when you crank.

Not getting fuel out of injectors

Hi John. Have you checked at all whether you do have any electrical problem on the circuit for your injectors? or whether you do have any immobilizer which is set to cut the power to the injectors for not spraying fuel? or if you do have any relay or any ECU failure? Good Luck John.

My 1998 Dodge Intrepid is starting & then stalling only after a few seconds. The engine light came on, & the code was P1391. Any ideas?

That code is indicating an intermittant crank shaft or cam shaft sensor fault. Because the engine is starting then stalling, check to see if you have spark after the stall. If spark is still present, you are probobley looking at a cam sensor circuit issue. The cam sensor controls the fuel injector pulse. If the cam sensor fails on a chrysler product, the fuel injectors will not function.

Jerks and shakes from time its cranked. can drive it but still jerks, doesnt want to take in gas when speeding up, some back firing when giving it gas. engine light flashes red until letting off the gas...

Sounds like a fuel injector is clogged up or is not firing due to the computer not firing it. Check by putting a noid light on each injector and checking for pulse by viewing a blinking light from it. Also, one can check to see if a stethoscope can be used to listen for a clicking from the injector indicating it's at least pulsing that way.

My 95 buick lesabre will not start , I have change to a new fuel pump and a new cam shaft sensor. The gas is getting to the fuel rail, I have spark on all six cylinders . If i spray gas in through the mass...

Thee are a couple of things left to check. One is to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail and see how much pressure your getting and compare it to specs. It maybe getting fuel there but not enough pressure. To see if the injectors are being pulsed you wil need a set of noid lights. You will unplug an injector and plug in the noid light. It will flash everytime that injector is pulsed. If it never flashes your injector drivers on the ecu are bad.

Non start turns over changed relay switches near e c u as water entered its 1.9 tdi audi 02 plate

the ecu can still be wet or damaged by the water. You may need to get another but the dashboard console with the instruments must go with the ecu you use, they are coded together.

You should have the check engine light on. Rent a scanner and follow all trouble leads. The trouble can be either fuel or ignition problems at this point. Put some water-removing additive in the fuel tank. Replace the fuel filter. You might do a compression check to verify the valve job. You might also put some injector cleaner in the tank as well. Were the valve clearances checked after the valve work?
