The pump is easy, getting the tank out is not. Unless you have a lot of time, a lift and tools, let a repair shop handle it.

Fuel pump is rather difficult to do. YOu have to remove the gas tank from the car. YOu may have already tested it. If not, have someone turn the key on but notstart the car. Listen by the tank for a humming sound, if you hear one then your pump is ok. If not then it is bad.

try replacing the ffuel filter if you hear the humming sound.

No, it is inside the fuel tank, this means the tank has to come out of the car.

Holden rodeo 1996 2.8 turbo diesel fuel pump 104641-5810 leaking from rear of pump

Probably an accelerator shaft seal leaking. Best discuss it with a diesel pump rebuilder as it may be an easy fix or expensive.

I just went to drive home after work and if seems like my trailblazer is not getting any fuel. is there a reset on the fuel pump or something that is easy to fix this problem? My other thought is that...

Before changing anything, you need to verify the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. If the pressure is low then the fuel pump or filter are suspect. The filter is accessible under the truck, but the fuel pump is inside the gas tank.

Has fuel and spark died on me will start with carb cleaner

If the car has a mechanical fuel pump, the diaphram in the pump is shot. The pump would run off the cam and with the leak, fuel will go into the sump. Its an easy fix and may take an hour.If its not a mechanical pump, sorry.Hope this helps
