One thing to try is to swap out the fuel filter, as it might have sucked up some gunk out of the bottom of your tank when you ran it dry.

Try starting fluid to get the gas flowing again happened to me the pump sometimes has trouble getting the gas to the engine when it runs dry it needs a lil vacuum pressure or the pump is going bad
