The door jab switch,in one of the doors is bad, most likely the drivers door, but it could be any door,or hatch. The door jab switch can be in the latch itself,so if it has no door jabs,it will be built into the door latch.

Check the relay fuses and anything that runs with the alarm and make sure nothing is grounding out your main problem is the illumination wire is making a contact someplace to confuse the interior lighting

The alarm goes off all the time for no reason,,door ajar is always locks and unlocks going down the road...wont start. just put in a new battery,,still nothing

It's in the driver door most likely do you have keyless entry and do you use your key to punch in the #s if so the seal is broken and letting water in if not the driver door module deals with all and also the door wire that's at the latch lock where you close the door that wire could be breaking making the interior and door ajar light comes on but all problems are in the driver door your master lock control keyless entry and alarm and door ajar all go through the driver door module check for moisture in it or corroded connections and broken wires also have fuses checked for blown ones have fun in your techno boogie box and if you do use your key press the key pad buttons get out of the habit

"Door Ajar" light won't go off. Interior lights staying on.

I sprayed WD40 in the handle opening and moved it up and down a few times and sprayed some in the latch and it went away.

2000 Hyundai Tiburon will not start

There is NO possible electrical cause (within REASON) which would create the problem you describe. I assume you tried the Keyless Entry Remote to DIS-ARM the anti-theft system. If the ALARM system was activated, it will stay activated until it's de-activated by the remote (typical design feature). The best SOLUTION is to take vehicle into Hyundai an have the problem diagnosed.

Interior Lights and Door Ajar light stay w/beeping noise.

Try spraying WD-40 into the door latching mechanism (door side). I learned this fix after two battery replacements, but have only had to spray twice in the more than seven years of ownership

Door ajar light still on which leaves interior lights constantly

This is usually caused by the switches sticking in the door latches. Try spraying some WD40 in the latches and open and close the doors a bunch of times that should take care of it.
