Question about 1997 Lincoln Continental
Check Engine Light not coming on when starting up which means I cant pass emmisions! Also a beep code Indicates AirBags (saftey airbags not suspention) are not functional. Just bought it used What could these two problems be? '97 Lincoln Continental.
The check engine light comes on with the key on, to let you know the bulb is good. Often, if a car has a problem, an unscrupulous seller will pull the bulb. The bulb is cheap, but often tricky to get at to swap. It would be important to get a good bulb installed, but then get your car scanned at a local auto parts store to see if any codes are stored..
