Trying to set timing on 91 sierra 1500 ext cab pickup have had to replace almost everything the truck just slowly died back fired real bad but now I am having problems setting the timing right

Inspect distributor gear and cam gear, have you disconnect timing wire behind glove box in some models or by firewall at right side in others while setting timing?

Those cab mounts can be purchased at a local GM dealer. I do believe, then I would suggest having it in a preffered body shop and they can be replaced. Another alternative is finding a used frame in good shape and swapping out frames. Steve
You need to adjust the automatic choke. Your choke may not be opening fully. There is a fast idle cam linked to the choke to keep the throttle open more until the engine is warm. The idle mixture screw is part 37 in the picture, but get the choke adjusted right first, and you may not have to adjust the mixture screw. See adjustment procedures at link beloe.
make sure there is no corrosion around the terminals make sure there is no broken wires check all conections and its possible that you have a bad ignition switch
this is posted in your owners man. i think you need to pull the high beem switch back and then hit the door locks once for on and twice for off depends, i have a crew cab so they have more door unlock lock choices
