Get yourself a fuel pressure gauge from sears hardware and check the pressure. watch to see if the pressure drops down as the truck sits. if it's dropping down you may need to replace the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump. more likely the regulator

What is crank sensor

Crank Position Sensor Is A Magnetic Sensor That Tells The ELectronic Control Unit (ECU) Which Position The Crank Shaft Is In. That Is Rotating And Top Dead Centre On Every Revolution.
If Your Car Is Telling You About This Sensor Ocassionally Then It May Need Adjusting And /Or Cleaning ,It May Also Just Have A Dirty Connection Where It Plugs In .The Engine Will Not Start At All If This Sensor Goes Faulty

Veru rough Iddle not all the time

Idle problems usually point to the throttle body being dirty. Disconnect the battery, disconnect all the top plastic resonator and hoses from throttle body. Remove the 4 bolts from the throttle body, don't worry about a gasket, just has a rubber O ring there that can be reused. Clean with sensor safe throttle body cleaner, must be nice and shiny, use a plastic bristle brush and lots of cleaner. I found that Seafoam spray is great for this. I just performed this over the weekend, can hardly tell it's running now.

BUT, I have new AC Delco 41-103 spark plugs, new air filter/ fuel filter and 02 sensors. Even with the previous items being changed, the cleaning of the throttle body will work wonders for you. Should be cleaned once a year or more.

I install a fuel pump but can't get any fuel to the throttle body. the fuel pump runs but it won't go through the throttle body?

hi.. so is it a carby or direct inj or throtle body inj ? if its a carby then you may need to clean out the jets, if not then the fuel does not neciserily go through the throttle body, just make sure your fuel lines are on the correct way, they are easy to confuse and usualy the most common mistake... if it is a mechanical fuel pump to a carby try starting useing 'easy start' aerosol can and it might help **** the fuel through... also if the carby is empty it will be hard to get fuel in so you can help by tipping some fuel into the carby pots..

Crank no start: has no spark and only has injector pulse on cyl # 1. if you spray starting fluid directly into throttle body car starts and stays running and has spark and inj. pulse. once you turn the car...

Fuel pump, you have to have press in the rail to fire all injectors- she will run on ether but not good for her. Ck your pump and any related fuses, relays, wiring.

1988 gmc k1500 wont start

hi, check the connections at the ecm,i think it's under pass front seat,i've had a couple of those years loose injector signal at ecm connector,if you have a test light you can unplug injectors and test across terminals ,it's a 12v signal at inj ,if lights flash on both while cranking try plugging in one at a time and see if either sprays, if one does and not the other, you would have a shorted injector

2002 ford taurus won't start at first crank in the morning

remove the air filter housing from the throttle body, or if its mult-ported injection, remove the large air duct. Do this the night before. The next day, before cranking and having a spray can of carb. cleaner, spray a couple of shots of carb cleaner either into the large air duct, spray towards the engine, or if its single body injection, spray directly on to the throttle body.

Crank engine immediately, preferrably have some one else sitting in the car to start it after you spray.

If the car even tries to start, replace cold start relay.
