Check your connections. turn the key to the on position and leave it sit for a minute or so then turn it off and try again. could be a security key issue. try a different key if you have one. you could also have a bad starter if none of this helps

Having trouble starting my oldsmobile alero. It won't start and the dash lights won't even come on now.

rough guess is that the battery is faulty
have a load test done on it
cold weather kills failing batteries quickly

I have a 2004 Jag s type w/ 45k miles. Last night I got all the system lights and "transmission fault, parkbrake fault and dsc not available." Got home, turned it off, restarted after 1 minute, restarted...

First thing to do is get the battery checked and replaced if necessary. If the problem continues, it will be necessary to have a pro-shop check the fault codes (go to a Jag specialst, not a dealer)

06 pontiac grand prix wont start no clicking when you turn the key over even jump starting the battery, has dash lights & radio & parking lights. battery tested good. put a used starter & altinator on

Used parts such as starters and altinators don't last. It might **** but it sounds like you need to buy a new starter, altinator, and battery. Or just start with buying one at a time.

Wont start

Have the battery tested. Just because the lights come on does not mean that the battery has enough cranking amps to turn the engine over.

Wont start

Inertia switch located on the passengers side (under the dash). You may need to remove a small door to get access to it. If you have not been in an accident, then it was probably tripped accidentally. Simply press the button, and it will reset. This should get your car running again. Good Luck!
