Then again, if you are referring to the tailgate trim panel, you will have to remove the cargo hook, then work you way around the panel, levering out the retainers (the special tool they have for doing this look sort of like a hand held dandelion tool, but you can do it with a screwdriver if you are careful).

Your car is a hatchback? If so, if the interior panel you are referring to is the cargo area cover (which picks up on cables when you open the hatch, which you can't currently do) it should push toward the hatch (from inside the car) from the bottom (the top snaps into place on each side and can be unsnapped but I think you can simply push it away and up enough to get under it) or are you talking about the panel on the hatch itself?

Don't you have fold down back seats? Master key in lock on shelf, turn one way to release one, other way to release other? Once folded down, you have direct access to trunk? If not, post comment, and I will investigate further.

There should be a very small lever on the lock reciever assembly , it's a left over from the manual cable on previous models ,It will slide in a slotted groove , but will still be present on the lock housing. Entry from rear passanger seating and a good torch a bit of luck and patience .

How can I fix my Honda Stream 2001 car boot which cannot open?

i would think you would have to remove the trim/panel to the boot lid from inside to gain access to the lock , there isn't a release cable some where in the boot , these are usually located on one of the side panels in boot may be behind a door/flap , have you the owners manual thiss may refer to this release mechanism if it is fitted hope this helps

My 2002 jeep grand cherokee laredo windows won't go down lights come on and stay on. Then the lights won't come on.

I had the same problem with mine. I have the same year Jeep. The Remote door lock also wouldn't work (Not on drivers door anyway!). Here's what I had found out from a co-worker with same vehicle. The wires in the door that run to the control panel on door for windows has been broken. You probably have several broken wires inside the "Rubber boot" you see when opening the door. You will have to take off the interior door panel, be careful to remove any wires and rod connectors when doing so. Then open the rubber seal. Find where the wires come in to door. Remove boot. Locate broken wires inside the boot section. You will then need to sodder in a 1'-2' wire to extend the broken wire(s). You may also decide to extend the unbroken wires now, just so you might not have to go through all of this again, later. I hope this helps out. I had found out it is a very common Jeep Grand Cherokee problem.

The hatch on my 94 Honda Accord Wagon will not open. The release seems stuck and does not release the latch. (Fairly confident it's not a lock issue.) How can the rear hatch be opened under this...

This is the exact problem that developed on my 96 Honda Accord Wagon. I huddled in the back interior with a utility knife and cut my own rectangular access panel into the plastic. A few inches up from the bottom center (just above the actual latch) I found my problem. A broken plastic clip was failing to hold its end of a metal arm into a hole. I stuck the 'L' end back in the hole and used some wire to secure it. Now I have duct tape decor added to my back interior and a working hatch!

Remove the doro finisher of your door.
Wirth a light, you should see a loose link rod between the key-lock and the door-lock. Just click it back in place.
If it is a zamac lock link, that's broken, you should replace the system

Driver side door lock

The switch is finding its ground thru the interior light switch. Your problem is most likely a broken wire in side the rubber boot that goes from the door to the body near the door hindges.
