It'll be located on the driver's side behind the bumper assembly and the wheel.

You may need to remove the plastic guard in the wheel liner or under the car to gain access to it...

The horn doesn't work. where is it located?

The horn is located at the front of the vehicle near the radiator. Before you even look at the horn, check the fuse - the horn has its own fuse. Then check the horn relay and then the horn. Lastly, if the horn still does not work check the horn switch/button

Where is the location of the horn in a 2000 Jetta?

On a 2000 Jetta the dual tone horns are on the drivers behind the front bumper. On a 96 Jetta they are behind the front fog light panels. Don't know if you have a 2000 or a 96 because of the title of the question so I included both.

My horn on my 2000 Volkswagen jetta vr6 stopped working and i checked all the fuses and they all good. so i need to find out whats the problem.

Try to locate the horn assembly. When you do, disconnect the wires from the horn and connect them to a volt meter. Make sure that the contacts are free of corrosion. Have a person activate the horn while you check to see if there is a 12 volt supply at the meter. If there is power, clean the contacts on the horn and reconnect the wires to their respective locations. Try the horn again. If the horn does not work, replace the horn assembly. Hope this helps.

The horn for the alarm is located beside the wiper motor assembly. You'll need to remove the wiper arm assy so you can remove the cowl panel and access the electric horn.
