Question about 1987 Ford F 150
Ford had a recall for this in 88-89. the recall was for a defective changeover valve mounted on the drivers frame rail. check to see if it has a small galvanized valve or the larger black one. if it still has the black one. its a bad valve. return from pump is pumpingf fuel to the oposite tank. go to a junk yard and find one with the newer valve is your best bet. or use on tank like i am. i disconnected my rear tank. still have,nt figured out how to wire my gas guage though. hope this helps someone.
