Only three sources of squeak--the upper and lower hinges and the door position stop. You may need to use a stethoscope (mechanics) to pinpoint the source (sometimes, a screwdriver handle held to the ear and the shaft touching the offending part will suffice). If it appears to be a hinge, you can heat the part with a propane torch or hair dryer till it's hot to the touch and then apply oil which will be drawn-in to the hinge interior. Work the door back and forth to help the lubricant in. Oiling these parts on a regular basis stops this problem. Good luck!

I have taken my 2003 GMC Envoy in to a GM dealer more than 6 times to be repaired for a very loud creaking noise in the front end. When I brake, the creaking noise starts. Or if I go over a bump, the...

My wife drives a 2003 GMC Envoy and has been complaining about this same creaking noise upon breaking or going over speed humps. I researched this topic on the internet high and low and tried everything I read to no avail. I was about to give up and then realized it could be the motor mounts since when you break or go over bumps the engine does have some movement. Sprayed the most interesting looking motor mounts I've ever seen with silicone spray and the noise was gone! My wife has been complaining for years about this noise and now looking back what a simple solution!. By the way my motor mounts where not worn out, the rubber portion of the mount just needed a little lube.

Is there any greasing nipples for the GMC envoy slt 2003 ? & If any where are located? squeaking noise at the left front

There are no grease fittings on most of today's cars. The squeaking noise may be coming from a dried out suspension bushing.

Back door makes terrible squeaking noise when

When you open your door you will see a flat bar that slides into the door while opening and closing. It is located between the two door hinges. There is a rubber on the door where the flat bar slides in and out, remove that rubber and you will see little rollers in the door, those rollers need to be oiled, preferably with engine oil. Oil the rollers and work the doors back and forth, the noise should abate.

There's a chance that the ball joints need grease. This should help, however once they have started to make noise like that due to lack of grease, they usually have gone bad. Replacement may be the only remedy. Hope this helps.
