Question about 1997 Buick Riviera
How to free up a stuck parking brake cable at the pedal on a 97 Riviera. The cable does not move under the car.
Hello. Chances are this 12 year old cable is corroded. You can sometimes free them up using a product available at auto parts stores called WD-40. Spray it the length of the cable and let it sit overnight to do its magic. If after doing that two or three times, you have no success then replacing the parking brake cable would be in store. Regards, J.
