Open the hood and let the engine dry, water has entered the ignition systen causing the car to misfire. Check for moisture at spark plugs, remove distributor cap and spray with q20 or a moisture dispersant spray

Citi golf 2006 1.4 cut the engen when is raining what's the cause?

Water ingress into the wiring. Try a water repellant such as WD40 and spray the engine bay wiring. Especially in the area of the Distributor and Ignition Coil. Make sure it isn't a water based spray!!

My 99 alero has leaking in the back floorboard when ever it rains. sometimes inches of water in back only. I have tried running a water hose over the car and sit inside still can't figure out where it...

You didn't mention if water accumulates when its just sitting. Here are some things to check for both simulated driving and sitting. The car will not be moving for any of these.

The dry check...
Open each door and look all around the seals and door frame. Look for "dry water trails" and for portions of the door frame that the door seal isn't touching. Do the same for the windows and trunk lid. Also, look under car for missing, loose, or unsealed body plugs. Do the same for each wheel well.

(for the next check, look for water inside after spraying each item)
Spray water with a nozzle in an upwards direction at the tops of the doors, windows and at the top of both the front and rear windshield. Spray directly at all trim panels on each door and all around the trunk-lid. Also, spray up and all around each wheel well.
With the doors closed spray directly at and around the entire door seam, for each door.
Keep at it, you'll find it. Hope this helps.

2005 Sebring, running hot when idle, seems to be leakage around thermastat housing, should the thermastat be replaced?

it probably wouldn't be a bad idea, if this is the motor that I am thinking of it also has a plastic housing which usually gets warped over time and should be replaced as well. AND of course it can usually only be purchased through the dealership (isn't that nice), for about $40 USD. Also make sure to replace the rubber O-ring when you get the thermostat.

When you drive the truck it will miss just like the spark plugs are bad . we have replace the wires and plugs plus put ever sensor in the world on it. we just put a choke sensor on it and it stoped for...

Its possible you have bad spark plug wires strat the truck and with a windex spray bottle filled with just striaght water lightly spray the wire with the water and see if it gets worse . if it does replace the wires another thing you can do is spray them at night turn off all the lights and with the hood open and the wires sprayed with water look ta the wires in the dark and see if you can see spark coming from them to the metal objects around . the distributor cap and rotor can also caus this problem.

Rain water leaking from under glove box, heater area, is not antifreeqe, iam sure it is rain water

The evaporator drain might be clogged. Get under the truck or open the hood and look for a rubber nipple coming out of the firewall on the passengers side. Try sticking something in this hole to release whatever might be stuck in there, usually leaves or sediment. Be careful, don't go crazy pocking something in there. The evaporator core might be near the drain hole, you don't want to poke a hole in it.

Water won't spray to clean windshield.

Best solution is compressed air blown through the backside of the nozzles. If you do not have access to that, use push pins to clean the holes from the outside

Be aware the Y fitting in the hose mounted right at the base of the hood is common to break from age, also causing no spray.

A constant squeeking noise coming from under the hood.

Hello there. An easy way to see if its the belt is to spray a little water on the belt and if it clears up the belt is harden which usually happens in extreme heat.If you could find some belt dressing they call it if the water test does prove to stop noise will work or replacing the belt will cure the problem.Hope this helps you and have a great day..
