There is usualy two places you will find these. 1 look in the fuse panel under your dash. or under the hood. a local auto parts store can show you the exact location and if you need to replace it they will have on stock or can order for you .

48 volt club car 4 12 v batteries one batterie checks 20 v when I single it out when I unhook it it checks 12 v

If you have 4 off 12 volt batteries connected in series (positive to negative leaving a positive terminal and negative terminal with no wires on then that is 48 volts. To check the batteries you have to disconnect each battery and have a load test done on each battery for 12 volts and dead cells. To get 20 volts you still have 2 batteries connected together with a good battery connected to a battery with a dead cell or else you would have 24 volts.

The ground on the fuse complex, inside the cabin, is about 4 volts against chassis ground and the flashers don't flash. Is that ground normally hi?

When yopu check a 12 volt line against the ground it should read 12 volts. If you check it on the bolt and get 4 volts, then the bolt needs tightened down to make better contact. This could be the reason the flasher doesn't work.

I have power rear vents on my 98 Villager that does not operate. I cannot locate it on the fuse box to replace so i checked each fuse and none were blown. Where is it?

go to our site for help.

your owner manual has fuse diagrams.

the qtr windows go through the power window relay. If other windows work, not likely the relay or timer module.

you need 12 volts at this wire on the overhead console switches.

  • Measure the voltage between the power rear quarter glass window regulator control switch C903 , "O/BK" and ground.

  • If no 12 v, SERVICE the "O/BK" wire between the power window relay and the power rear quarter glass window regulator control switch.
The ower window relay is above and behind the fuse panel on the dash. 2 relays and turn signal flasher in same area. Turn signal light on to locate flasher. 2 bolts hold bracket with relays & flasher.

Where is the fuse flasher located in a 1987 Volvo DL? I was told that this was how to resolve the problem of my fuses for the turn signals which keep on blowing the 8A fuse. I was also told by a parts...

The flasher for your car is located in the front seating area, center, under dash, mounted in front driver side of console. Now I'm not much of a Volvo person but I am a Ford electronics specialist and I'm taking an educated guess that this is not your problem but I could be wrong. A flasher in most cases will not short and I believe you may be looking at a wiring problem but again it's a Volvo and could be wrong. It's just the concept either Ford or Volvo is the same and I am just going by my experience in auto repair. I believe the one for the turn signals will be the square one. I gave you a picture of what both of them look like. The round one only has 2 terminals as I gave a picture of that as well. I hope this helps you a lttle at least and good luck.

Where is the electronic flasher located ?

    • Kneel down under the steering wheel .
    • Look up and to the right of the steering wheel at the edge of the vinyl molding for the dash ,you would see a screw holding it. But in reality, the screw is through a metal plate that slides over the top of the flasher unit. And the screw does not actually screw through the unit.
    • Remove the metal plate and you can see electronic flasher unit.
    • You can replace your old flasher with new flasher you have bought! and before you replace it,sandpaper the terminal ends. It would provide good connection if there is some problem with the connection.

Amp light will not go off. While on the road, 15 mins., lost a/c power, turn signals wouldn't function, power steering temporarily froze. Added power steering fluid. Now, steering okay but amp light still...

Usually an amp light is an alternator not charging. Put the voltmeter leads across the battery terminals,( red---- positive, black--- negative). The meter should read between 13 to 15 volts with the car at idle, any less, it needs replacing. Check the battery with the car off, meter should read about 12 volts, less than that, there is a weak or dead cell in the battery and not holding the charge. If all is good, the turn signal flasher unit is bad, it is a small round cylinder type object, usually located under dash in the fuse box driver side, just pull it out. The 4 way flasher is of the same type, so make sure you get the right one. Turn on the emergency flashers and put your finger on one of them. the one that isn't clicking, is the one toy want.

    Turning signals not working

The way the system works is:
The fuse supplies 12 volts to the flasher unit then leaves the flasher and goes to the turn-signal switch in the steering column.
When you set the turn-signal switch to turn right or left, the switch sends that 12 volts to the front and rear bulbs. The voltage goes through the bulb, lighting the bulb and goes to ground.
If any of these components are not good than the lights will not work.
Check the fuse and make sure it is good, the fuse will be located under the hood at the fuse center.
Let me know if you have a test light and we can proceed from there.
