Check the hoses going into the heater box,if the top one is hot and the lower one is cold then you need to flush the heater core to get rid of the **** that has built up over the years.

Need to know why a 97 mercury cougar won't start until cooling fan and fuel pump stop running

I would think it's a problem with (CCRM) constant control relay module . This module has relay's inside that control the fuel pump , cooling fans , A/C compressor clutch , PCM - engine computer power relay . And thier are electronics involved , solid state circuity . Google CCRM

Truck blew upper radiator hose changed that and thermostat still over heating think its air bound any way to bleed 2001 dodge dakota

remove the radiator cap, leave it in park, start up and let it idle. turn on the heater so the air gets out of the heater core. give it 15 or 20 min. after it reaches operating temperature. if needed, do it again. also remember your thermostat may be bad

No heat. Changed the thermostat and flushed the radiator, had heat, now two weeks later no heat. Might be the heater core, yes/no, is it difficult to change? Just wanting to know.Where can I find...

I'ld say yes, heater core. But before swapping it out try this. There are two hoses that lead to your heater core. Disconnect them and add two longer hoses to it. Run one down to a bucket on the floor. The other flush with high water pressure, then there is this acid you can add. WARNING, I DID SAY ACID. It will eat your skin and if you leave in your heater core too long it will eat you core too! After say 2-3 mins flush with high water pressure again. On second flush I'ld flush for a good 10 15 mins to make sure it's all out. Reconnect factory hoses and refill system.

1999 Taurus-NO HEAT-replaced thermostat,flushed heater core,still NO HEAT,ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Sounds like the problem has to be the valve is not opening and thus not allowing the hot coolant to enter the heater coil. Manualy open the valve (engine firewall) and see if heat is present. If this works check your cable from the dash switch as it isn't working the valve properly and needs replacing.

No heat in my dakota. flushed heater core and replaced therm with a reg one.

check for poor flow to heater core-change heater hoses -check for lime build up at intake connector or worn out water pump -if you only put water through core try using CLRlime cleaner in core-get two 6in pieces or heater hose hook them to core and pour it in and leave for 15 mins then wash out with water hose

No heat

The heater core may very well be plugged and in need of replacement. a repair centre can confirm that.
