Clean both the window glass and the brackets of any adhesive . buy some aquarium silicone the kind used to assemble fish tanks. Make sure you mark the brackets to the proper location on the glass. Apply the silicone in the brackets and press onto glass. Let dry 24hrs before reinstalled window into car. Good luck.

You can also take the door panel off and go to a local window shop. They have a etching primer and glue to fix it. When I did it to my 88, they charged me $10 to do it.

How do I attach a review mirror for a 1994 thunderbird lx

Go to an auto parts store and buy rearview mirror adhesive. Your rearview mirror will separate from the small mounting piece that adheres to the windshield. Clean off the glass where it will sit. Follow the directions on the adhesive package and install the mount on the windshield. Once it dries, install the mirror on the mount. Rearview mirror adhesive is one of the most powerful adhesives on the market. Don't use anything but rearview mirror adhesive or the mirror will not hold.

There is a complete series of instructions in the 2002 owner's manual about how to reprogram the "glass drop". I don't have the manual available at the moment, but I did mine and it was easy. You raise the glass and HOLD the button for 2 - 3 seconds and then drop the glass and do the same routine on the close... or something like that. It';s all there in the manual on the section about the side glass.
