Question about Chevrolet Tahoe
I have a 2007 tahoe that did not come with center console. I purchased a console to put in it and it came with bose amp and rear heat and radio controls. Am I able to hook these up since vehicle did not come with this? Is harness up under dash to plug it into?
If the harness is there you can hook it up, but I doubt anything will work. Those are options that are built into the truck.

This should be a foot operated - ratchet style parking brake pedal. What happens is the ratcheting mechanisms get stuck and the handle will not work, pulling onthe cable will not release the parking brake, what you may have to do is actually get in there with a screwdriver, see where the relese anle mounts to the ratchet assembly and manually release it. You will have to remove th drivers side kick panel covering the parking brake ratchet to get a good look at it, but you should be able to manually release the ratchet to release your parking brake, just follow the release handle, you will see how it operates the ratchet and just move the release with the screwdriver. Hope this helps.

Remove the 5 mounting screws from the instrument cluster trim plate and remove the trim plate. Remove the 4 mounting screws from the instrument panel face plate and remove the face plate.Remove the instrument light grid from the center of the cluster. From behind the instrument cluster reach behind the speedometer and disconnect the speedometer cable by releasing the tab. Pull the cluster forward just enough to detach the "check engine" light bulb from the center of the cluster. Remove the instrument cluster from the dashboard.
