Question about 2002 Saturn L-Series
I have a saturn 2002 l200. The right high beam headlamp doesn't work. it is not the fuse or the bulb. any suggestions?
Pull the bulb out and look for burnt spots on the connector. if it's burnt or corroded you can get a replacement at a good auto parts store

could be the switch. did you do anything to the switch when you changedheadlamps? maybe you put the lamp in incorrectly also did the brights work on the lamp that was "burned out"?

Did you check in the engine compartment.
If you go to autozone or advanced auto parts you can get a book for the car for about 15 bucks

Hi. i recommend a thorough inspection of the wiring harness and harness connectors that led to the actual headlights. use a volt meter to test the current flow to the connectors. pull the connectors from the back side of the headlights and test all cooper contacts inside the connectors. If the wire contacts all show voltage, this will confirm a switch malfunction. it should be replaced in this case.
Now, if one or more contacts on the wires harness fail to produce any voltage, this will confirm a faulty wiring harness. replace the wiring harness in this case.
Make sure the headlight switch is in the on position when testing the wires.

The headlamp circuit is rather simple. From the 15 amp RH headlamp fuse, there is a red w/yellow trace that goes to the RH high beam. Out of the 15 amp LH headlamp fuse, the wire going to the LH Hi beam is solid red. Both of these wires should have power when the headlamp relay is energized. The wires from the Hi Beam bulbs going back to the switch should both be red w/black trace. The wire going from the headlamp relay to power the 2 15 amp fuses is white. The headlamp switch applies a ground to illuminate either the Lo Beams or the Hi Beams.
