How to replace front springs and struts on 99 plymouth breeze?

    i did it with a crowbar...take the tire off and remove the bolts on the top and slowly pry it out of its place...you will scratch the paint a little inside the wheel well but it can be done. you cant just replace the mcphearson spring though you have to replace the entire strut, if you go to a place like lkq or u-wrench-it you can do it for around $30

You need to have a professional do this. if you remove the nut on top of the strut without a spring compressor tool the spring could kill you!

You have no shocks per se, but you do have struts, which serve as shocks.
The answer is yes, particularly if you take a flashlight and see that they are wet somewhere.
Wetness indicates a leak of fluid.

Trying to locate the ecm on a 2000 plymouth breeze.


Plymouth Breeze 2.0L SFI 4cyl the Engine Control Computer is located under hood, driver side, front side of strut tower, rear of headlight, mounted on inner fenderwell .

Does my 1993 6 cylinder 3.0 Plymouth Voyager have shocks or struts in the front?


Hello tunamae: My name is Roger and I will help. Your 1993 Voyager has struts on the front of the vehicle. In order to change them you will need special strut tool in order to change the strut springs form the old struts to the new ones. yes u do,its called a coil spring compressor unit,they start at around 50 bucks for the cheap and dangerous ones.

My 97 Breeze battery is behind the left front wheel. Turn your steering wheel all the way to the right, and lock in position. Remove the access plate in the wheel well.
