Question about 1999 Dodge Ram
The proper amount of fluid may not have been put back in or the wrong type. check the fluid level and then take it to a parts store and they will let you use a scanner to pull the code and they will translate it and tell you exactly what the problem is. It may be unrelated to transmission. Either way, you dont want to ignore the warning.
