it will be a special oil that is only sold by accredited ac specialist shops . If there has been no failure of the system other than a leak then there will be no need to put oil in the system. This is not a job for DIY's as as the quantity of oil has a maximum amount and too muck makes the system inoperative
Try cleaning the engine with degreaser and hose off the oil and muck. Let the engine dry out and then start the engine and look where the oil is leaking from. From your description, the oil could be leaking from the tappet cover. May need a new gasket or the tappet cover bolts needs tightening.
the oil could be leaking from valve cover and sitting in a bottom engine cover(plastic covers on bottom of car) and oil trail when move, will leak more when engine hot as oil gets thinner and easier to escape. Would replace gaskep asap or will cover engine in black sticky muck which is not nice to try and clean and engine oil is not the best thing to get off your garage floor.
oops?? think you have a problem here and the problem is muck in the pick pipe filter on the oil pump ,drop the sump and check it before you re start .had this problem before quite a few times the brown muck builds up inside the engine where the oil isnt changed often enough ,the new oil is cleaning the engine so the muck breaks up and clogs the gauze filter .I serviced a car last week and it got 20 miles up the motorway and the oil light came on. when car returned here with irate customer who has been using my car since. When i told them what had happened they have kept my car and will not pay for the repair to theirs because they reckon i never put the oil in .This is about teh third car in the last year with the same problem ,change the oil every 6000miles and and the oil filter every thrid oil change
