Airbag light reset code

You would need to reset the warning light and then see if it comes back on, which would indicate a fault still there. Try this procedure

http://s16.photobucket.com/user/rogersb/media/AirBagReset.jpg.html

"How do you reset the airbag warning light in a '94 Camry?
A: Clearing the warning light in '92-'96 Camrys by the following procedure:
In the DLC1 or DCL2 (data link connector under the hood, see following diagram)
Use two short wires, one wire at terminal TC and a different wire at terminal AB
With the ignition key ON - wait 6 seconds, then:
Ground terminal TC to good body ground for one second
Then ground terminal AB for one second
Then TC one second
Then AB one second
Then ground TC until the light blinks.
Make sure the interval between grounding terminals is not more than 0.2 sec.
Remove the ground wires
Be very careful to only use the correct terminals."

1995 toyota camry LE airbag light on

Easy, just listen carefully. Get two wires and attach them to a good ground (-12v). These need to be solid and small, like telephone wire. Attach both to ground and strip off the insulation so that you can insert them into your data connection port. Just make sure they will fit and make contact, but don't touch them to any of the contacts yet. Ok, now with the key "on", look at the data connector, they should have letters on them, we will be looking for "ab" and "tc".

  1. with key on, ground tc for 1 second
  2. ground ab for one second
  3. ground tc for 1 second
  4. ground ab for 1 second
  5. ground tc for 1 second
Light should be out. If this don't work, instead of 1 second, try 1.5 seconds, but shut off key and turn back on before you try again.

Took me two trys personally. Here is a pic of what I believe to be your connector.

Try this procedure, but if it comes back on, your airbag is faulty, of course.

Why dose the tc light stay on my 02 cavalier

If the abs light is on there is a code set in the abs system. When a code sets it disables tc and abs. You need to have it scanned for codes

How reset the abs check light on a 2007 scion tc

not sure you can reset this, you can try to pull the fuses, under hood number 10 and 11, but installing them back may bring the problem back, you may need a new anti lock system

ABS LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT STAYS ON

ABS = Anti-lock Brake System.
TC = Traction Control System (Engine Control Module).
If the ABS lights on the dashboard permanently the ABS system is faulty. You must access the ABS & TC Electronic Control Units (ECU) memory for pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car. Then you will be full informed about bad pieces (e.g.: front right wheel abs sensor interrupted, ...). After bad pieces replacement you will be able to erase all faults memored by ABS ECU, in other words reset the ABS system and turn off the warning lamp on dashboard.

I suspect bad brake pedal switch, but you should scan the ABS & TC ECU's.

Tc whont turn on the light wont turn off abs light wont turn off

Your ABS system has detected a fault in the system. When that happens, the TC is automatically turned off. You will have to have the ABS diagnosed and repaired before the TC will come on again.
Good luck.

Abs and tc lights on dashboard remain illuminated after reset

Bring it back to the repair shop that did the initial repair and have them complete this repair. There is something wrong. They have to reinspect their work and check the ECU for loose wiring and determine whether you need a new ECU.

My tc and abs light are coming on all the

Speedo and traction control; check wheel sensors all 4, clean and blow the sensors and reactor rings.
Is ABS light on as well? if so, you need a EBTCM module mounted to the brake ABS pump facing the battery. There are places in the US that rebuild them with warranty for under $150.
