Question about Ford F-350
The 30 amp mini fuse controls the PCM power relay along with the ignition coils on plugs (COPs) . The problem is most likely in the COP wiring having a short.Given that you've developed a skip in the engine. Visually check the wire harnesses to the COPs for damage or breaks in the covering.See if you can retrieve the fault codes in the PCM to isolate which cylinders are skipping. This will help localize the wiring issue.
Like with any short to ground in the wiring,it may take some time to pinpoint the fault. Using a short tester in the 30 amp fuse socket and wiggling the harnesses may also help find the problem.
Let me know, if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
