2000 Ford F150--My defrost drains power from engine!

2000 Ford F150--My defrost drains power from the engine, and nearly kills it. Seems like a pulley is seizing up, makes a horrible noise, then runs 5 second,s does it again. However the floor heat works fine. Also, the a/c compressor wants to run w/ the defrost, panel, all except floor. How do I take out the a/c from loop?

Your a/c is going to run on defrost that is normal. but the if the noise is coming from the comp then you have bearings or clutch going out on your compress. if you want to delete the comp buy a belt for your truck with out a/c and see if you can make it fit sometimes you can do this.

Where are the relays located on a 1989 ford f150 5.0

In a 1989 Ford F150 5.0, the location of the relays can vary depending on the specific model and trim level of the truck. However, in most cases, the relays are located in the engine compartment's power distribution box, which is usually located near the battery.
To locate the power distribution box, open the hood of your F150 and look for a black plastic box with a removable cover. The cover may have a diagram or label that indicates which relay controls which electrical system. In some cases, the relays may also be located in a separate relay box near the power distribution box.
If you're having trouble locating the relays, consult your F150 owner's manual, which should have detailed information about the vehicle's electrical systems and component locations. If you're still having difficulty finding the relays, it may be best to consult a qualified mechanic or Ford dealership for assistance.

I have a f150 2000 v8 triton motor, i drove it the other day it started fine, than I went to start it again and it wouldnt start, than it started when i took to garage they said it was fuel pump and

If the anti-theft light is flashing, I would think it is a problem with the key or the anti-theft system. The system would kill the power to the fuel system.

2000 F150 power port just went out

The power point in the dash on the 2000 MY truck is engine compartment fuse panel, fuse #1, 20 A
You might be talking about the rear power point which is engine compartment fuse # 12, 20A
Passenger compartment fuse panel, fuse # 3 is for the cigar lighter & ODB-II port.
If you are talking about the power point, it is the engine compartment fuse panel ( could be both the power point and the cigar lighter were both out )

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

Also handy to have the PDF to search on keywords ( Ford calls the DC power ports, power points if you are searching ).

2000 Grand Caravan fan trouble

this sounds like the a/c compressor is locking up trying to stall engine. run the car with heater off, then turn on a/c or windshield defrost. if engine stalls (or almost) suspect faulty a/c compressor
