Start to replace pressure cab and bleed the coolant system and fallow coolant lines if any visible leak.
these are the quick check and solve the problem temporary because usually over heat will cause blown head gasket on grand am specially if you have 3.4l.

2001 hyundai santa fe air conditioner not blowing cold Have added a/c stop leak, added freon, added antifreeze.

The problem with what you have done is to introduce faults into the ac system. The ac may have stopped working from over or under pressure in the system in which case the ac compressor would stop working. There is a very fine tube in the evaporator that is easily blocked and will not allow the gas to pass from liquid to gas and so cool the car. I suppose you checked for power to the compressor clutch before you touched anything as it may be a faulty ac switch or fuse.. If you put antifreeze in the ac system then you are up for a complete system as the glycol will destroy all the internals

1999 olds silhouette heat is warm when running but the gets cooler when idling also heater hoses have no pressure on them. I have checked coolant level added some. Checked for air in cooling system by...

The heater core could be clogged. If your antifreeze is orange , then it is Dexcool antifreeze which causes slime and sludge to build up in the cooling system. It can clog a heater core. My suggestion would be to drain and flush the entire cooling system with Prestone Super Flush. Put in a new thermostat while your at it. Refill the cooling system with a green antifreeze that is labeled compatible with aluminum engine parts and radiators.Do Not refill with Dexcool antifreeze.

Over heating

Have you ck. thermostat? New ones don't cost much and if you have added or replaced antifreeze if it's not mixed with water properly it will not cool. Been there, did that. I thought stright antifluid would be the best but I was wrong again. Drained out some fluid added water, problem solved. Now they have premixed antifreeze for people like me.

My antifreeze is leaking out of my radiator .....HELP : (

adding antifreeze on its own can be bad for your motor.. it needs to be added with water.. does it leak from your radiator cap/ overflow hose or from the radiator core.. ckeck you thermostat as well. it stays closed when the water is cold and opens when it gets hot.. it sounds like it could be stuck shut..

I have a 2000 pontiac grand am gt the check vehicle soon light has been on for a couple of month and jus recently the abs and trac off light needless to say i have had little to no problems with my car...

The first thing you need to do is fill the coolant up again and take it to a shop that you trust, have them pressurize the coolant system to find the leak, then repair it.
But my fears are that who ever check it for you last saw a head gasket leaking and didn't want to fix it so said nothing,Also if your seeing white smoke behind you that is an engine burning antifreeze.
