Change out your oil cause its low or dirty.  Take the thing into the auto parts store or a mechanic so they can hook the thing up to their computer and see what trouble codes come up from the check engine light.

Fill the oil back up to full.  It shouldn't be half way.  Doesn't start could be many things: Dead battery, bad alternator, bad spark plugs, bad wires, loose battery connections, dirty battery connections, alarm system overriding starting system, or bad ignition switch.  You gotta hook this thing up a computer.  You gotta either tow this thing or go to the auto parts store and buy you or rent you one of those portable computers.

- Switch on the head lamps for 5 minutes.
- Keeping the head lamps ON, start the engine.
If the lights die,
- Check the battery terminals.
- Check battery state of charge.
- Charging system.
If the lights still glow sharply,
- Check fuses and relays in under the hood fuse and relay box junction.
- Battery to starter motor cable.
- Battery to engine ground and chassis ground cable.
- Solenoid on starter motor.

- Wiring.
-Ignition switch.

Check engine light flashing in 2006 chevy hhr

If it is running rough & no check engine light on then the first thing I would to is tune it up. If you have a check engine light then pay someone to diagnosis it & go from there. Usually when the light comes on there is a more promenient issue; that is WHY the light continues to flash.

Jeep was overheating, Now leaking transmision fluid and won't start

I don't see how leaking transmission fluid would be connected to the engine overheating, unless the radiator blew up.
You'll need to figure out why it won't start to proceed.
Check for spark and fuel pressure, and of course compression.
Is the check engine light on ?

I have a 98 Intrepid with a 2.7 engine. It was driving fine on Thursday night. Went to leave for work Friday morning and it wouldn't start. So far, we have tried a new battery, had the started tested,

The 2.7 had alot of problems with the cam sensor. I would start there. Its located on the front top of the timing cover. Unplug it and see if it "Pops" attempts to start.
