i know if you don't have good air flow to the air breather, you will loose gas mileage...make sure you have a good clean air filter...this would be a good start for you...

I have fire, gas, and no blown fuses. ive replaced distributor, cap, button, and coil and also replaced fuel pump. Im lost dont know what to do

Did you make sure you put the sparkplug wires back in the right holes?
If so it could be a compression problem. If you have the tool you can check it yourself by removeing the sparkplug one at a time and and put the gage in the empty sparkplug hole. Have some one turn over the motor and see if your compression is right. Do this to all the cylenders to be sure. If you dont have the tool, take it to a mechanic and have it checked. He can tell what it is and what it is suppose to be. Not knowing what engine you have, I can not tell you what compression to look for. If your compression is low, the rings are gone.

Hi im tring to find out what i need to replace on my truck the is a code po 102 that says mass or volome air flow but i dont no what to buy 1996 gmc 3500 454.takes a while to get running after that its not...

You need to look for a hole or loose fitting clamps where your air duct runs from your air filter to the throttle body where the gas enters the motor. Any leak in this ductwork will make your vehicle hard to start and run poorly because too much air is getting past the mass air flow sensor.

I have a 1999 gmc Yukon it is getting fuel and spark i even sprayed starter fluid in the intake but it still wont start it turns over good but wont start

ok make sure you have good fuel pressure
you must have good spark must fire a spark tester
if all that is good then check compression
and don't use STARTER FLUID on a GAS ENGINE it can blow a hole through the piston
hope this helps

Unfixable Denali

locate the coil pack.... pull one spark plug wire at a time... any change in how the motor runs ... replace it and move to the next wire. if you pull a spark plug wire and there is no change you have likely located the problem.
a couple things... if the check engine light is on stop into autozone and have them read the codes (free) also another possibility is a plugged catylitic converter.
